Helene has always been a creative at heart, writing poems, stories and songs, performing in school plays and musicals. For a school project, she even wrote and filmed her own musical about Marie Antoinette. However, coming from an academic family, she initially chose the “sensible” path and studied politics at university. A chance encounter with renowned producer Matthias Stalter during a late-night dog walk reignited her passion for music, and songwriting quickly became an outlet for navigating a time when she felt like she was losing control over love, friendships, family, and her own dreams. Her upcoming debut album, Meltdowns, captures the chaos, joy and angst of that journey. Helene’s music explores the highs and lows of young adulthood, when even the simplest of choices feel like be-all or end-all moments. With each song, she invites listeners to embrace their own “Meltdowns” as moments of growth and self-discovery.
